Hundreds of Trees in West Jakarta Pruned

The West Sub-dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries pruned hundreds of trees in West Jakarta (2/24). The effort is done due to the trees are prone to fall and overgrown.

Head of West Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries, Djauhari Arifin said his party had pruned dozens of Angsana trees at two sides of Duri riverbank, left side of Angke Jaya street, Angke urban village and also the right side of Jembatan Besi Street, Jembatan Besi Urban Village.

Djauhari added that the average height of trees are up to 10-20 meters. Moreover many of citizen burn trash nearby the trees that caused many of branches dry.
"Besides pruning the trees on that location, the pruning process has been done on the two sides along Tb Angke street," he disclosed.
